When an outstanding soloist plays with us, the orchestra’s energy is considerably multiplied.
Focusing on the three world-famous musicians, Gustav Rivinius cellist, Alexander Sitkovetsky and David Grimal violinists, Anima Musicae Chamber Orhestra’s new concert series, Anima³ will be organised at Budapest Music Center’s stage.
Having the prestigious title of „National Youth Orchestra” for the years 2018-2020, our guest artists play with us for the first time.
Alexander Sitkovetsky was born in Moscow into a family with a well-established musical tradition. His concerto debut came at the age of eight, and in the same year he moved to the UK to study at the Menuhin School. Lord Menuhin was his inspiration throughout his school years and they performed together on several occasions.
Highlights include performances with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Konzerthaus Orchester Berlin, London Mozart Players, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, just to name a few.
Having a commitment to chamber music, he is a founder member of Sitkovetsky Piano Trio, which gave concerts at Wigmore Hall in London, at Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and at Carnegie Hall in New York. Since 2011 Sitkovetsky also plays in Julia Fischer Quartet.
