European Orchestra Academy – Masterclass Closing Concert
Works by Mozart, Schubert, Bartók, Bruckner, and Danzi.
- Professor: Gábor Takács-Nagy
The academy is a joint project of the Budapest Festival Orchestra and the European Union Youth Orchestra, at the initiative of Iván Fischer. The international young musicians who study here gain orchestral experience at the BFO, and their chamber groups perform in many European countries. They are prepared for chamber music performances in master classes by distinguished professors. At the closing concert, five chamber groups will perform for the Budapest audience.
