On December 28, 29 and 30, the St. Ephraim Male Choir's New Year's Eve concert series will take BMC's online audience to the homeland of paella, siesta, fiesta, Jamón Ibérico, Sangria, Gaudí, Picasso and Dalí. For three evenings, the  Choir and their guests explore the extraordinarily rich music culture of the Iberian Peninsula – from Mozarab singing, to the famous medieval Codex Las Huelgas and Llibre Vermell to the greats of Spanish vocal polyphony (Morales, Victoria, Guerr) as well as the masters of romantic and 20th century music (Albeniz, de Falla, Rodrigo). As returning listeners of the series may already know, the Choir invites everyone to sing farewell to 2020 together.

This concert was supported, in line with the Government decree 1290/ 2020. (VI.5) related to cultural institutions, in order to ease the economic difficulties caused by the Covid19 pandemic.

The free concert stream will be available on the BMC – Budapest Music Center Facebook page.
