Legendary host of Voice of America’s "Jazz Hour" for more than 40 years, Willis Conover introduced jazz to audiences around the world. The U.S. Embassy in Budapest has invited Ms. Maristella Feustle, a digital music archivist from the University of North Texas and expert on Mr. Conover’s legacy, to hold an exciting discussion at BMC exploring jazz as the "secret weapon" of American diplomacy and Mr. Conover’s support of the jazz community behind the Iron Curtain, including his special fondness for Hungary and Hungarian jazz.
