The Budapest Festival Orchestra's Trombone Quartet was created in 2017 to bring the genre of brass chamber music closer to the audience. Their guest soloist is bass trombone player and professor Hiroyuki Kurogane, member of the NHK Symphonic Orchestra Tokyo. His participation celebrates the 150th anniversary of cultural and economic relations between Japan and Hungary.
